This saddle is handcrafted in Spain, following the traditional manual methods of old artisans. The saddle is made of split leather, but it can also be crafted using natural nubuck, leather, or a combination of leather with split leather or nubuck (see various references). In all cases, a wide range of color options is available (check availability).

This saddle comes with two flaps (one inner and one outer), but it can also be made with a single flap (monoflap) if desired (see various references). The saddle presented here combines leather and natural nubuck, but it can also be made entirely of split leather, leather, or natural nubuck, or in a combination of leather with split leather (see various references). A wide range of color options is available in all cases (check availability).

The saddle in this description is monoflap, meaning it has a single flap, but it is also available with two flaps—an inner and an outer flap (see various references). The girth straps are long and arranged in a V shape for better support and balance of the saddle on the horse.

Guarantee and Materials

Ludomar models come with a six-year warranty for the tree under normal conditions of use. All leathers used are tanned using natural and vegetable-based processes.

Flexible Tree and Flex Balance System

This model is manufactured with a flexible tree and equipped with the Flex Balance system, providing both vertical and horizontal flexibility. This design allows for greater contact with the horse while maintaining sufficient strength and durability in the arch and cantle.

The saddle is available with three different tree widths to fit the withers of any horse:

N (Normal): Tree arch width 10.5 cm, tree arm base width 33 cm.

W (Wide): Tree arch width 13 cm, tree arm base width 35 cm.

XW (Extra Wide): Tree arch width 15 cm, tree arm base width 37 cm.

Seat Sizes and Features

Two seat sizes are offered:

13" (Normal)

11.5" (Small)

Both seat sizes are slightly shorter than those of the Alta Escuela and Ronda saddles, due to the use of thicker foam in their construction.

Additional Options and Accessories

The saddle is supplied with a protective cover at no extra cost. Additionally, the following accessories can be purchased separately:

Panels and Custom Options

The panels are filled with latex foam but can be made with wool upon special request.
